| Keith Jones
|I am one of the Pastoral Managers at Pent Valley School.||Keith Jones is a graduate of Christchurch College, Canterbury. He taught English and PE at Sherborne Preparatory School, Dorset and the Community College, Whitstable (formerly Sir William Nottidge), where he was Head of Upper School and member of the Senior Management Team during Malcolm Ramsey’s tenure as Head, until he retired in 2002.
Keith and his wife fostered ‘hard to place’ children for 13 years and he was a member of the fostering organisation’s Board of Education.
Keith has been a member of the Whitstable Society, Whitstable Choral Society, Whitstable Twinning Association, founder member and chairman of Whitstable Rugby Club and chairman of Chestfield Cricket Club Junior Section.
He is married with two children and twin grandchildren.
I was born and educated in north London and moved with my husband to Folkestone in 1979 to take over a small clinic of complementary medicine. After standing down as in Independent councillor I retained the community projects that I had been involved with. These include various youth orientated projects such as The Shed and Sea Cadets. I am also a governor at Harcourt primary school and the President of The Workers' Educational Association. I passionately believe that education is the leveller of society's inequalities and that our young people deserve the best start possible in life. I will do my utmost for PV in the school's final year.
