What are Functional Skills?
The basic skills your child will need for the future and the communication skills that will allow them to progress, no matter which career they choose.
How are these taught?
These basic key skills are taught across the curriculum, in every subject, so that the students appreciate using writing, reading, speaking and listening and numeracy for a range of contexts which they may encounter in their post- school careers.
