School Dress Code
As of September 2008, Pent Valley Technology College has a new school dress code which must be adhered to by all students. Post-16Students can wear the following Smart Casual clothing:
- Jeans, Trousers or long to medium length Skirts
- Trainers or Shoes
- T-Shirts, Shirts or Sweatshirts
Because of our Smart Casual Dress Code, students are not to wear:
- Scruffy or ripped Jeans or Trousers
- Shorts, ¾ Length Jeans/Trousers or Short Skirts
- Scruffy or ripped Trainers
- Low-Cut or Sleeveless T-Shirts, Shirts or Sweatshirts
- Items of clothing that display offensive words or images
- Hats of any kind
Years 7-11 Reflecting student demand, a choice of warm tops and polo shirts are available. However whatever choice is made, all students should wear the school logo clearly visible. - Black V neck jumper trimmed with blue and school logo or Tank top trimmed with blue and school logo or Black sweatshirt with school logo
- White polo shirt with school logo (fitted option with school logo for girls)
- Plain black footwear
- Plain black or white socks
- Plain black school jacket (No other outer wear will be acceptable)
PE Kit - Black crew neck T-shirt with school logo
- Black shorts and white socks
- Black sports trousers with blue piping (optional)
- Blue and black sports shirt (optional)
- Training shoes
- Boots for rugby and football
- Shin pads are required for football and hockey
- Gumshields are recommended for rugby and hockey
- Long black socks Towel for showers (optional)
Optional choice of PE top for girls - Black styled polo shirt with blue trim and school logo
- A suitable bag is needed for carrying books.
A separate bag should be used for PE kit. All items incorporating the school logo or school colour* is available from Price & Buckland for home delivery or school collection, so too, the black jacket.
