Once again, we are very proud of our young people and their achievements in the 6^th Form at Pent Valley Technology College.

Since the introduction of the mini-schools, and Dyson Mini-School taking responsibility for post -16 education, we have seen a substantial improvement in students passing AS level, and the percentage rate for A” level has risen to 97% in 2011.  This continues the trend of improvement seen over the last five years, building on the success the school has had in improving GCSE results.  Ninety-one students gained A-level equivalent qualifications at Pent Valley in 2011, by far the highest number the school has had.

Twenty-three students gained results allowing them to take a place at one of their chosen universities, while another thirteen are still waiting for confirmation from UCAS of an appropriate course through the Clearing System.
