Other notable achievers were, Lila Pun, who accepted a place at the University of Greenwich, where she will study mathematics, and international athlete, Victoria Silk who is off to the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff to study sport and exercise science. Deputy Head, Giles Osborne said “The new A* grade is only achievable by an elite few, and for us to have a pupil in the elite bracket is very exciting. It is so difficult for most students to attain this grade, but we have broken the seal. All students achieved brilliant results, and we have the most we have ever had going to university, at a time when there is so much pressure on places.”
