Pent Valley Technology College is an Extended School, offering a varied range of activities including study support of, sport and music clubs, both before school and after. The Learning Resource Centre is open from 8am until 5pm for independent learning and study. Breakfast is available for sale in the Bistro from 8.00 until 8.40am. In addition to teaching secondary aged students, the school works with primary schools in the area offering them access to our resources from ICT and foreign language lessons to drama therapy and storytelling.

In addition, the school aims to offer swift and easy access to specialist services. Pent Valley Technology has a named link social worker within Shepway Social Services, a Community Police Support Officer based in the school and works closely with KCA, Kent Safe Schools and many other outside agencies.

The Valley Leisure Centre (VLC) offers community access to a variety of sporting facilities and classes, both in the evening and at weekends and the fitness studio is open to its members throughout the school day. Students and their parents are offered discounted membership rates. VLC Active which is Ofsted registered runs fully supervised fun and games to keep children from 5 to 14 year olds happily occupied during most school holiday periods.
