Work Related Learning programmes are on offer to students from Year 10 to Year 14. We offer training in Child Care, Hairdressing, Beauty, Construction and Motor Vehicle. Work Related Learning gives students the opportunity to gain recognised industry qualifications, as well as developing the necessary practical skills to secure future employment in that field. Training is delivered at our satellite centres by qualified staff with relevant industry experience. Facilities are of commercial standard and are open to members of the public. As part of their Work Related Learning programme, students will work members of the community such as schools and children's groups, businesses, and local residents. Many students also attend long term work placements, this enables them to gain valuable experience and often leads to employment either in a part-time capacity whilst students are still at school, or in a more permanent position on completion of their studies.
